My Thoughts For Today
How The Race Was Won
The stadium audience went quiet as the runners lined up for the start of the race. The silence swept from one person to another as a wave washing over them.
The nine contestants were getting ready for the race of their lives and there would only be one triumphant winner – or so everyone first thought.
But this was no ordinary race!
The nine contestants were all part of the Seattle Special Olympics, and all nine contestants, were all physically or mentally disabled, and they nervously got ready and approached the start line waiting for the signal to run!
The gun fired and the contestants all moved forward with more enthusiasm than speed and dexterity and they were a determined bunch all wanting to win.
One small boy, after a few steps stumbled and fell and landing on the track and began to cry.
In a moment you will find out what happened to this little boy, but if you are ready to run your own race then visit here:

And now back to the race…
The other eight heard the cries of their friend and slowed down one at a time. They all turned and each one of them went back to help their little friend.
One of the girls with Down Syndrome kissed him and was reported to say “that will make it better!”
They helped the little boy up on his feet, they all linked arms and together they walked as one to the finish line as the whole stadium stood and cheered them together.
Some people see disability as a reason for failure, but these very special children knew that even with a disability they could be as big or as little as they chose to be and they chose to live in a world with no one left out and all win together.
We all have stories of times when we have fallen and others have come back to help and support us, just as these wonderful kids did and this touching story may remind you and I of those who have been a support to us through difficult moments.
Being in a position to help others is wonderful, but in order to do so it means that we must take the time in our lives to generate the resources we need in order to assist others.
Creating success in our lives allows us to help others as well as ourselves and it is truly what life is all about.
While I am sure that you are already enjoying some success in your life, you no doubt have decided that you want to be even greater and right now you have an opportunity that some people just dream of, but you may feel that you have some imperfection that is holding you back.
However, just like our little team of athletes above, if we join up with others our imperfections may be used to achieve success.
We all have some imperfection, but I have a special report to help you overcome all imperfections and be the success you want.
