Argon Animation Inc To The Rescue...

Yesterday started off like everyday...

I was finishing a meeting and driving home, when I get a call from a stressed out client asking me to "rescue his show"

The show was 7 hours away from starting...

"No problem...!" said I

Changing direction, Jane and I (and I could not have done this without her help) went to the venue to find that he had (foolishly) contracted a couple of guys with a couple of lasers to put together the show...

They had the equipment...

They had the programming station...

But knew nothing about programming or how to setup the equipment correctly and safely!

Direk was in trouble...

Argon Animation Inc to the rescue...

Immediately I organized for my programming system to be brought to the hotel...

We installed it and began programming literally 3 hours before the show...

Here are the results of literally 3 hours of programming...

The Moral of This Story

In my opinion, the end clients needs were probably not being met, but rather 'low budget' was possibly being implemented by the production house.

This is actually not, in my opinion a fault of the production house, as the way most shows are financed here in Manila is that the production make money from the amount they can save...

So 'value for money' and 'meeting client objectives' are often not being met in many of the shows...

And buying cheap, does not constitute value for money, especially if it does not work!

So please, directors, stop this practice of 'how cheap can I get a product for' and instead work on if it is of merchandisable quality and will it work?

And remember that your name is also on the line...

I am so happy that we could help last night and make a great show for director and client.
